The Downtown Electric Shuttle is only a quarter and takes you from Sola and State Streets to the waterfront and back every ten minutes (with bus stops at every block in case you notice the perfect shop).

Paseo Nuevo. This charming open-air promenade with winding paseos has many eclectic restaurants, four movie theaters, Macy’s and Nordstroms, and over 50 unique, upscale boutiques from bébé to Banana Republic, and from Abercrombie & Fitch to This Little Piggy Wears Cotton. Day Trips

The country surrounding Santa Barbara is incredible. The most common destination is our beaches, but within 30 minutes you can find yourself wine-tasting in the “Sideways” wine country; playing Texas Hold‘em at the exciting Las Vegas-styled Chumash Casino Resort; shopping in Solvang, the charming Scandinavian village, whale-watching out in the middle of the ocean on the Double Dolphin; or rejuvenating at Bacara, a world-class luxury beach spa resort. See our complete selection of Southern California and Central Coast day trip brochures at the front desk.
